Sand dunes will serve as Antarctic snow banks for the first official tests of this giant 45,000-pound "snow cruiser" now nearing completion in Chicago. Officials of the Research Foundation of the Armour Institute of Technology said that only the huge wheels have yet to be placed on the cruiser before it will be wheeled out to an area in Miller just east of the county line.
